A handyman, also known as a handyperson or handy worker, is a person skilled at a wide range of repairs, typically around the home. These tasks include (1) trade skills, (2) repair work, (1) maintenance work, are both interior and exterior, and are sometimes described as “side work”, “odd jobs” or “fix-up tasks” however in recent times these have become professional lines of work majored in for such disciplines as journeyman and artisans.

Specifically, these jobs could be light plumbing jobs such as fixing a leaky toilet or light electric jobs such as changing a light fixture.
